Notes from Annabel and Fiona

Fiona had a school record book given to her to when she was in Grade Five, so she went back and filled in a lot of the early detail that I remembered, while I still remembered it!  I did find in annoying that in Grade Nine, it asked  about my driver’s license and what my favourite car was.  There is proof, in Fiona’s own handwriting, that when she was in Year Nine, she aspired to be Mother Theresa and Princess Diana.

Annabel’s husband also had one, with pockets where he stored his certificates and report cards.  He refuses to divulge his Year Nine career aspirations……..

We wanted to produce a book that took the best of A Book About Me, mainly its simplicity, classic design and Australian format.  We have to admit it is quite a challenge to design one that suits all Australian states, but we managed!  In some states, primary school finishes in Year Six, in others it is Year Seven.  So we have a pocket in between those two years to celebrate the special occasions that go with the last year of primary school.
